What Is Mindfulness?

 

Mindfulness is a simple practice of paying attention to the present moment with curiosity and without judgement. By focusing on your breath, body, or surroundings, mindfulness helps calm the mind and reduce stress. It can ease overwhelm, quiet racing thoughts, and bring more clarity and balance into your day.

Drawing and Talking

What is Drawing and Talking?

 

Drawing and Talking is a simple and supportive therapeutic method that helps children make sense of their feelings through drawing. Many children find it easier to express emotions visually rather than verbally, and this approach allows them to share their inner world safely and at their own pace.

It’s not meant to replace support like CAMHS or specialist therapy, but it can be a valuable early intervention—especially for children who might not yet meet thresholds for other services.

Sessions are 30 minutes, held once a week over 12 weeks, giving your child a calm, consistent space to reflect, process, and feel heard.
